It's always nice to win creative awards – nice, that is, for our egos. But the golden goose, the fatted calf, the holy grail of awards has to be the effectiveness award.

It’s the ultimate prize because it enables people like us (agencies) to demonstrate to people like you (clients) that our advertising works and every penny of value is being wrung from your budgets.

The principles of 60 Watt have won a hatful of such awards over the years.  15, to be precise, over 17 years.  Make that 16 – we recently won another one, the overall effectiveness gong at the Scottish recruitment advertising awards bash.
