The phrase, “I know what I like” smacks of a Monty Python sketch wherein a bluff Yorkshireman over-patiently and incredibly patronisingly explains to the cowering young waitress why he doesn’t like his food “fannied about” with. Now as far as we know, there are no Yorkshiremen or women working at 60 Watt, but a few of us have started wearing virtual flat caps. After all, we’ve been around long enough to know what we like.
